NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --The Portland Pilots scored early and often in their 14-6 win over the CSUN Matadors.
JT Landwehr (2-1) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Portland (17-20). The right-hander went five innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on two hits, allowing no walks and striking out three.
Riley McCarthy's two extra base hits were the highlight of a 2-for-3 day, including two doubles, two walks and an RBI.
