SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track team concluded the first day of competition at the UW Invite with several solid performances.
Senior Becca Howard started off the night finishing 14th overall in the women's 5000m, posting a 12 second PR to record a new personal best of 17:04.14. Sophomore Thomas Salas followed up Howard placing 31st overall in 15:12.19, also in the 5000m.
The Pilots then entered two teams in each of the men's and women's distance medleys. On the women's side, Portland's A group placed 19th (11:54.
