PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots jumped out to an early lead against the Warner Pacific Knights and never looked back en route to a 78-36 non-conference win on Wednesday morning at the Chiles Center. Four players scored in double figures for the Pilots.
Kate Andersen scored 14 points in just 12 minutes for Portland, who improves to 3-0 under first-year head coach Michael Meek. Freshmen Alex Fowler and Keeley Frawley also finished with 14 points, and Lauren Walker added a career-high 11 points off the bench.
The Pilots scored the game's first 17 points, which was fueled by six points from Fowler and five from Andersen, who knocked down a corner three during the run.
