Pilots Record Season-High in Hits, but Pacific Prevails 10-6

PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Pilots recorded a season-high 15 hits, but the Pacific Tigers took advantage of six Portland errors to prevail 10-6 in a West Coast Conference baseball game played on Saturday night at Joe Etzel Field. Only five of Pacific's runs were earned, and the Pilots had four batters register three hits each on the night.

Pacific (14-18, 6-8 WCC) scored the game's first run in the top of the third, but the Pilots (13-21, 1-10 WCC) immediately responded in bottom half of the inning. Michael Forgione led off with a single, advanced to second on an error and moved to third on a Geoffrey Lee sacrifice bunt.
