Pilots Produce New Personal Records at the Charles Bowles Invite, Men Take Second

SALEM, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's cross country teams concluded competition on Saturday morning at the Charles Bowles Invitational in Salem. The Portland men placed five runners in the top-15 to claim second, while the Portland women finished fifth.

Redshirt sophomore Peter Allegre was the top finisher for the Pilots, crossing the line third in 24:12.2 for a new personal record. Redshirt juniors Devin Wulff and Cobie Chavez-Killinger rounded out the top-10 with an eighth (24:44.4) and ninth place (24:46.0) finish, respectively. Wulff also recorded a new personal best, while redshirt freshman Evert Silva and Said Guermali claimed the fourth and fifth point scoring spots for Portland with a 12th and 14th place finish.
