LAKEWOOD, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots men's cross country team placed first at the Puget Sound Invitational earlier this morning in the men's 8k race at Fort Steilacoom Park. Six of the eight men who competed at the meet took the top six spots.
"Starting off with a perfect score is just about as good as it gets," said head coach Rob Conner. "I'm very proud of Devin for putting in a lot of work this summer, which earned him his first win in college."
Sophomore Devin Wulff finished first for the Pilots in 26:51.0, with freshman Erik Holm and Conor Johnston close behind him who both tied for second (27:09.
