PORTLAND, Ore. --- First-team selections Paul Christensen and Rachel Lusby highlight 12 Pilots total to receive West Coast Conference Soccer All-Academic honors, which was announced on Wednesday. Eight women's soccer players were honored, while four from the men's side received all-academic accolades.
Christensen, a senior goalkeeper from Woodinville, Wash., has previously earned league all-academic honorable mention twice. The two-time reigning WCC Goalkeeper of the Year, Christensen led the conference in shutouts for the second consecutive year, producing six clean sheets overall. His three shutouts against league opponents were also tops in the league, as was his 1.11 goals against average.
