PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's soccer team officially begins their 2020-21 season on Wednesday when they host the George Fox Bruins in a non-conference match at Merlo Field. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m., and the game will feature a live video stream and live stats.
The Pilots return 13 players this spring from their 2019 roster, including senior All-WCC Preseason Team selection Luke Hendel, who is the top returning goal scorer for the club. As a junior in 2019, Hendel netted five goals, and was named to the All-WCC Second Team.
Also returning is sophomore left back Delentz Pierre, who like Hendel was named to the league's preseason team.
