BOISE, Idaho --- The Portland Pilots volleyball team began their weekend with a sweep, winning the first match of the Boise State Classic against the Sacramento State Hornets on Friday at the Bronco Gym. The Pilots swept in three sets, winning 25-16, 25-23, and 25-18.
The Pilots extended their best start in program history, now 10-0 on the season, and have tied the longest winning streak in program history.
Junior Cali Thompson had her third straight double-double, having 32 assists and 11 digs. Senior Reghan Pukis led the Pilots in kills with 13, and redshirt-sophomore Izzy Guzik had 10 kills and six digs.
