SEATTLE, Wash. – The Portland Pilots rowing team will be back in action this weekend when they head right up I-5 for the Husky Open. It'll be their first race in Seattle at the Husky Open since 2019.
"It's been great to see the work we've been putting in during training show up on the race course," Portland head coach Gulliver Scott said. "This weekend is another opportunity to do just that."
The Pilots are coming off a strong showing at the San Diego Crew Classic this past weekend. Prior to that, they raced at Lake Natoma for the Sacramento State Invite, where they beat several WCC teams and took second in two of their three races.
