PORTLAND, Ore. --- The scheduled baseball game on Saturday between the Portland Pilots and Nevada Wolf Pack at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex has been cancelled due to the wet weather. The four-game non-conference series will resume on Sunday with the finale, which is set to begin at 11 a.m. in Ridgefield.
Portland swept Friday's double header from the Wolf Pack, winning by scores of 14-1 and 13-0. The Pilots combined to hit eight home runs during the two games, with Travis Turney and Tracye Tammaro each belting a pair, and Portland collected 32 hits.
Starters Eli Morse and Christian Peters were each masterful on the mound, with Morse winning game one after tossing 7.
