PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots make their annual trek to the West Coast Conference Championships this weekend, which will take place on Saturday morning on Lake Natoma just outside of Sacramento, Calif. The Pilots will be racing four boats on Saturday, with the varsity eight, second eight and varsity four counting towards the WCC Championships at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.
The Pilots are coming off back-to-back fourth-place finishes at the 2016 and 2017 WCC Championships, with both the varsity four boat and the varsity eight posting the program's fastest times ever at the WCC's last spring.
