PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots matched their program record for threes in a game with 15 on their way to an 81-71 victory over the Santa Clara Broncos.
The Pilots (11-5, 5-0) had three players score in double figures, led by Alex Fowler, who had 26 points, seven rebounds and a career-high four threes. Shearer added a career-high 20 points and Liana Kaitu'u chipped in as well with 10 points and a career-high six assists.
How It Happened
After jumping out to an 11-8 advantage, Portland went on a 6-0 run with 4:59 left in the first quarter, culminating in a three from Keeley Frawley, to increase its lead to 17-8.
