STOCKTON, Calif. -- The bats were hot for the Portland Pilots as they took down the Pacific Tigers 14-9 in Stockton for their first win in WCC play. The Pilots have won 13 straight games now against the Tigers dating back to 2021.
Curtis Hebert (1-0) started on the mound and picked up the win for Portland (7-15, 1-0 WCC). The right-hander went five innings, giving up four runs, three earned, on two hits, allowing four walks and striking out five.
