STANFORD, Calif. – Sema Pankin won two Friday's singles matches to reach the quarterfinals of the ITA Northwest Super Regional hosted at the Taube Family Tennis Center. Pankin was knocked out of the draw in a three-setter to Pacific's Ran Amar on Saturday.
Pankin defeated Ryan Torres of UC Davis in the opening round and then knocked off Gonzaga's Sasha Trkulja in the Round of 16, both in straight sets.
Eleftherios Neos won his opening round singles match over Nevada's Matheo Coupu 6-3, 7-6 as well on Friday before falling to No. 74 Joshua Charlton of Oregon in the second round.
