PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots women's rowing team travels back to Lake Natoma this weekend for the 2019 West Coast Conference Championships, which are scheduled for Saturday morning at the Sacramento State Aquatics Center. This is the third time this spring competing on Lake Natoma for the Pilots, including most recently at the 2019 WIRA Championships.
The WCC Championships feature four races, with three of those events counting towards each team's point total in the chase for the cup.
"The team is focused on the championships this Saturday," Portland head coach Pasha Spencer said. "It's been a great year and as a program we have gained more momentum and depth.
