BOISE, Idaho --- Portland's Darian Slaga scored 18 points and Ashley Gray collected 12 rebounds, but the Boise State Broncos pulled away late in the fourth quarter to claim a 74-60 win over the Pilots on Sunday afternoon at Taco Bell Arena. The 12 boards are a career-high for Gray.
The game was close throughout the afternoon before the Broncos (9-1) pushed their lead to 17 points mid-way through the final frame. That's when the Pilots (2-9) embarked on a 10-0 run to climb back into the game. Slaga buried a three during the run, and she went coast-to-coast with a lay-up after making a steal on defense.
