EUGENE, Ore. – Portland's impressive run at the Duck Invitational came to an end on Sunday as the Pilots conclude the fall tennis season with a lot of confidence. Portland was represented in all three title matches played on Sunday, but came up short in each event.
After a remarkable Saturday with a pair of three-set wins to reach the finals, senior Carlos Donat fell in straight sets to Oregon's Ty Gentry in the top flight finals.
Freshman Eleftherios Neos also won three matches to play for the championship of the Yellow Flight. He lost to Boise State's Simon Arca Costas on Sunday.
