PORTLAND, Ore./Bellevue, Wash. --- In a game that took almost a week to finish and was held in two separate locations, the Portland Pilots rallied for a 16-14 win over the Seattle U Redhawks on Tuesday afternoon at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue. The game started last Wednesday at Joe Etzel Field in Portland, but it was halted in the bottom of the fifth inning because of rain.
The Pilots (18-11) began Tuesday trailing 13-12 when the game resumed, and the Redhawks (6-20) added a run in the top of the seventh to extend their lead. But the Pilots answered with a four-run home half of the frame, which started with an RBI double down the line by Matt Kelly.
