PORTLAND, Ore.---The Pilots created several chances throughout, yet the result remained at a scoreless standstill with No. 11 Loyola Marymount after 110 minutes in a West Coast Conference men's soccer match held on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Merlo Field. Portland picks up their first draw of the year in their WCC home opener, while the Lions are still undefeated on the young season.
The Pilots (1-2-1, 0-1-1 WCC) seemed to control much of the first half, managing to keep the pressure on LMU's side, and just edged the Lions (3-0-1, 2-0-1 WCC) in shots with three.
