SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The Portland Pilots took the first set, but couldn't hold on and lost 3-1 (25-22, 9-25, 18-25, 13-25) to the San Diego Toreros Thursday on the road at Jenny Craig Pavilion. The loss dropped Portland's record to 10-7 overall and 3-4 in WCC action.
The Pilots were led by a double-double from Maui Robins, who registered 10 kills and 13 digs on the day.
