PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland men's tennis team won its third straight match and 22nd consecutive home contest with a 6-1 victory over Idaho on Friday at the Louisiana Pacific Tennis Center. Portland improves to 3-3 this spring, while the Vandals fall to 0-3.
Portland ran a new doubles lineup out with senior Michail Pervolarakis and freshman Tom Hann teaming up at the No. 2 position. They won by a 6-1 margin and then Carlos Donat and Jamie Fisher clinched with a 6-3 win at No. 3 to improve to 3-0 this spring together.
The Pilots wasted little time in clinching with straight set wins at the top three positions.
