PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland women's tennis team improved to 2-2 in West Coast Conference play with a 4-2 win against San Francisco on Saturday at the Louisiana Pacific Tennis Center. The Pilots improve to 7-7 overall, while the Dons fall to 8-8 overall and 1-3 in league play.
Portland grabbed the early lead by taking the doubles point with wins at the top two spots. Junior Emily Soares and freshman Marija Elenova cruised to a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles, while juniors Jelena Lukic and Anna Oberg clinched with a 6-3 win at the No. 1 position.
