PORTLAND, Ore. --- The final United Soccer Coaches Men's Soccer Poll was released this week, and the Portland Pilots end the season as the No. 21 team in the country. It's the first time the Pilots finish the year in the national rankings since 2009.
The Pilots entered the national poll during the third week of the season and remained there for the remainder of the year.
Portland began the 2018 campaign with an unblemished 10-0-3 mark, which was the program's best start since the legendary squad of 1988. The unbeaten streak was also the longest for Portland since 1995 when the team put together 14 games without a loss.
