FRESNO, Calif. – The Portland Pilots (10-2, 0-0 WCC) ended non-conference play on a high note, beating the Fresno State Bulldogs (4-7, 0-0 MWC) 67-50 in Fresno. With the win, the Pilots claim their best non-conference record since the 2007-08 season, when they went 10-5 before conference play.
Alex Fowler was the leading scorer for the Pilots with 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Fowler was one of three Pilots to break double-digits today, with Lucy Cochrane and Haylee Andrews scoring 12 and 11 respectively.
Andrews once again stuffed the stat sheet with a quality all-around performance.
