DENVER, Colo. --The Portland Pilots got the job done in four sets (25-19, 19-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-13) to take down the Hofstra Pride Friday at Hamilton Gymnasium. The win improved Portland's overall record to 4-1 on the season.
The Pilots offense was led by Jayde Harris, who finished with 13 kills on the day, and by Maui Robins, who had 11 while hitting .333. Defensively, Portland had three players reach double figures in digs, including 17 from Grace Zilbert, 12 from Keilani Mumolo, and 10 from Noelani Helm. From the front row, Emma Swett contributed eight blocks and Charity Bradley added five rejections.
