LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- Portland's Anja Koehler scored her first goal of the season in the second half and the Pilots were knocking on the door all night long at Sullivan Field, but in the end they'd settle for a 1-1 draw with the Loyola Marymount Lions in a West Coast Conference women's soccer game on Wednesday night. The Pilots had 16 corner kicks for the game.
Koehler's goal came after she'd had been denied twice earlier in the match on quality shots. On a counter in the 52nd minute, Kimberly Hazlett whipped in a cross from the right wing towards the top of the sixth.
