STOCKTON, Calif. – The Portland Pilots women's tennis team had another in a long line of decisions this season come down to the final point, but the Pacific Tigers held on for a 4-3 win in West Coast Conference women's tennis action Saturday afternoon at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. Portland has posted a 2-5 record this Spring in matches that came down to the final point.
The Pilots (6-13, 1-7) took the lead with a hard-fought doubles point with 6-4 wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. The top tandem of Sally Pethybridge and Rimona Rouf improved to 12-6 this spring in dual doubles.
