STOCKTON, Calif. -- Portland received contributions from every part of their lineup, as all nine starters reached base safely, helping the Pilots put 14 runs on the board and beat the Pacific Tigers 14-5 Saturday. The win clinched the Pilots' second WCC series of the season.
Nick Brink (2-0) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Portland (15-7, 5-0). The right-hander went 3.2 shutout innings while giving up three hits, allowing one walk and striking out three. Curtis Hebert also made an impact on the mound for the Pilots, throwing one scoreless inning while allowing no hits.
