PORTLAND, Ore. --- Senior Sara Zaragoza recorded her first career double-double and five Pilots scored in double figures as Portland cruised past the Warner Pacific Knights 95-59 in a non-conference women's basketball game played on Friday night at the Chiles Center. Zaragoza scored a career-best 15 points to go along with a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Pilots (4-4) looked to Zaragoza early as the center nearly had a double-double by the half. She scored eight points in the first quarter to allow the home team to jump ahead by 10. The Pilots pushed their lead to 18 points when freshman Maddie Muhlheim buried a three-pointer mid-way through the second quarter.
