MCMINNVILLE, Ore. & LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams closed out the Linfield Open and Oxy Invitational, this evening at Maxwell Field and Jack Kemp Stadium in southern California.
The majority of Pilots competed at the Linfield Open, where freshman Maya Murphy-Cook set a personal record in the 100m hurdles to move up to sixth all-time in the UP record books. Sophomore Sky Chen-Johnson also set personal bests in both the 100m (13.24) and 200m (27.21).
"Our sprinters had another excellent meet, led by Maya Murphy-Cook, who did great in the 100,200, and 100 hurdles," said women's head coach Ian Solof.
