STOCKTON, Calif. --- Portland junior guard Haylee Andrews poured in 24 points and scored a clutch bucket late in the game as the Pilots held off the Pacific Tigers to win 65-59 on Saturday afternoon at the Alex G. Spanos Center. Alex Fowler was also solid for the Pilots., collecting 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
The win completes the two-game road sweep for the Pilots, who won at Saint Mary's on Thursday. Portland improves to 9-6 overall and to 6-3 in the West Coast Conference.
It was a game of runs as both teams looked to gain an advantage, but it was the Pilots who led for most of the afternoon.
