PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland men's basketball team shot 58.3 percent from beyond the arc and led from start-to-finish in a 91-76 victory against the Pepperdine Waves at home Saturday.
The Pilots (11-11, 3-4 WCC) had five players score in double figures, led by Moses Wood, who had 17 points and five assists. Tyler Robertson added 16 points, seven assists and two steals and Alden Applewhite helped out with 15 points off the bench.
Portland took advantage of fantastic ball movement in Saturday's game, piling up 21 assists on 31 made field goals. Robertson's seven assists led the distribution list for the Pilots.
