PORTLAND, Ore. --- The 2017 season is officially here as the Portland Pilots men's soccer team held their first training of the new year Wednesday morning at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex. The Pilots are coming off a historic season that saw them return to the top of the West Coast Conference.
Nick Carlin-Voigt, now in his second year as head coach on The Bluff, guided the Pilots back to the NCAA Playoffs in 2016, while setting some milestones along the way. The then first-year coach was also tabbed the WCC's Co-Coach of the Year as the Pilots nearly swept the league's annual post-season awards.
