Pilots Battle, but No. 2 Gonzaga Prevails in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – Mike Meadows scored 15 of his team-high 19 points for Portland, but the Pilots dropped a 104-72 decision at No. 2 Gonzaga Saturday night at the McCarthey Athletic Center. Tyler Robertson added 17 points and six rebounds for the Pilots (11-10, 2-4 WCC).

Portland made just 3-of-23 three-pointers on the night as Robertson was the lone Pilot to connect from beyond the arc, he was 3-for-8 from long range. Freshman forward Chika Nduka was solid once again and finished with 10 points and nine rebounds before fouling out. Kristian Sjolund grabbed a team and career high 11 rebounds off the bench.
