SALEM, Ore. -- The No. 24 Portland Pilots men's team secured sixth place overall, with two runners finishing in the top 15 at the 49th Charles Bowles Invitational, held at Bush's Pasture Park.
Redshirt freshman Dalton Kaines led the Pilots, finishing ninth with a time of 24:20.5. Jacob Hupke is the second Pilots crossing the line, securing a 15th-place finish with a PR of 24:30.6. Evan Delacruz contributed with a 36th-place finish in 25:06.7 PR. Chris Anderson and Alex Baca rounded out the Pilots' scoring five with a 39th-place and 49th-place finish in 25:13.4 and 25:21.3, respectively.
The Pilots will be racing next at the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Oct.
