SAN MATEO, Calif. – Portland senior right-hander Christian Peters has been named the West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week after leading the Pilots to a road victory at San Diego on Saturday. Peters earned the win after tossing 7.0 innings while striking out eight.
The Centralia, Wash. native surrendered just four hits, three walks and did not allow an earned run in Portland's 6-2 season-ending win.
