EUGENE, Ore. – Junior Anna Oberg recorded a straight sets singles win for Portland, but the Oregon Ducks took a 4-1 women's tennis victory Wednesday night at the Student Tennis Center. Oregon improves to 7-15 overall, while the Pilots are now 8-11.
Oberg posted a convincing 6-0, 6-3 win against Taryn Fujimori at No. 6 singles for Portland's lone point and her second straight win in dual matches this spring.
Oregon grabbed the first point with a hard-fought doubles win. The Ducks took No. 1 doubles by a 6-1 margin, but the other two positions went to tiebreakers.
