PORTLAND, Ore. --- Austin Nyquist, who spent the past year as the director of performance analysis for Portland men's soccer, is the program's new assistant coach, announced head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt. Nyquist steps in for Leonard Griffin, who was recently hired as the head coach at San Francisco.
"I am incredibly honored and grateful to begin my new role with Portland men's soccer," Nyquist said. "It has been a pleasure to work under the leadership of coach Carlin-Voigt and I am truly thankful for the trust he has put in me. I look forward to the continued success of UP soccer both on and off the field and I am glad to be a part of the Pilot family.
