LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The No. 8 Portland Pilots lost to the No. 10 UCLA Bruins 2-0 Friday on the road at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. The loss dropped Portland's record to 1-1-0 overall.
Tamir Ratovitz and Shakir Nixon scored the two goals for the Bruins.
How it Happened
Portland kept UCLA off the scoreboard in the first half before giving up two goals the remainder of the game. Ratovitz scored on a header in the 54th minute while Nixon's finisher came in the 76th. The Pilots made a push in the final 15 minutes, but came up short.
