SEATTLE, Wash. – The No. 24-ranked Washington women's tennis team defeated the Portland Pilots by a 5-0 margin on Sunday afternoon at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. The Huskies improved to to 6-2 with the win, while the Pilots fall to 1-4 overall.
Washington features two singles players ranked in the top 40 nationally, while its two losses have come to teams ranked in the top 10 nationally.
The Huskies grabbed the doubles point with 6-2 wins at all three positions to go ahead 1-0.
