PORTLAND, Ore. --- Following a successful fall sports campaign, the University of Portland is 12th in the most recent Learfield Directors' Cup Standings, and the Pilots remain the highest ranked non-FBS school. Portland's ranking is boosted by the men's and women's cross country teams' historical performances at the 2018 NCAA National Championship, along with men's soccer reaching the second round of the playoffs.
The men's team finished third at the XC championships, marking the third time in five years that the Pilots have finished on the podium (top three finish). Three Pilots earned All-America honors, tying the program record set last season.
