SEATTLE, Wash.--- The Portland men's and women's track teams opened the MPSF Championships at Dempsey Indoor on Friday, where standout sprinter Maya Murphy-Cook tied Portland's all-time record in the women's 60m dash, and many athletes ended the night with new personal records.
Senior Maya Murphy-Cook highlighted the night by matching program history in the women's 60m dash with her time of 7.84. Murphy-Cook also raced in the women's 200 meter dash, collecting 39th place in 25.83. Tara Fuiten also garnered 42nd place in the 200m, while claiming a new personal best of 25.
