Washington jumped out early by taking the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 1 and 6-2 victory at No. 3. Portland's No. 2 tandem of Cade Fernando and Issa Yoshida were leading 5-4 when the point was clinched. The Pilots were forced to shift their lineup due to injuries just before the match began.
The Huskies then took the opening set of all six singles matches and earned straight set wins in five of the six matches.
