EUGENE, Ore. – Portland men's tennis concluded its fall schedule Sunday at the Duck Invitational hosted at the Student Tennis Center. The Pilot doubles tandem of Eleftherios Neos and Issa Yoshida came up just short in a tiebreaker in the championship match against a pair from Oregon, while the team picked up three more singles wins in the back draw.
Nikolas Tvedt and Oscar Brown shared the Yellow Draw Singles title at the event and each picked up another quality win in Sunday's extra matches.
"Lefty and Issa lost a close doubles final to a very solid University of Oregon team," Portland head coach Aaron Gross said.
