SAN MATEO, Calif. – For the second week in a row, the Portland Pilots men's soccer team has swept the WCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards, with Brandon Cambridge winning offensive player of the week and Delentz Pierre earning defensive player of the week.
It's the first time that any WCC team has swept the weekly awards two weeks in a row since the conference switched the format to recognize an offensive and defensive player each week. The sweep also means the Pilots have won four of six possible weekly awards this season.
Cambridge earned the nod after notching three goals and an assist this past week.
