ESTACADA, Ore. --The Pilot men's cross country team cruised to a team win with just 31 points at the Lewis & Clark XC Invite on Saturday morning, led by Daniel Racle's second-place individual finish in the 8K race. Racle crossed the line in a time of 24:16.4. Women finish ninth overall.
The Pilots ran two strategies throughout the race. One group decided to push hard from the front of the race, forcing their competition to run hard if they wanted to remain competitive.The other group decided to work their way up from the middle of the pack throughout the race.
