PORTLAND, Ore. – Mike Meadows scored a career-high 29 points in his return to the lineup from injury, but Portland was without starting forward Moses Wood and lost leading scorer Tyler Robertson to an injury midway through the first half in a 92-72 loss to Loyola Marymount Thursday at the Chiles Center.
Meadows added three assists to his 29 point game to lead the Pilots (8-8, 0-1 WCC). Alden Applewhite helped out with 12 points and Kristian Sjolund chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.
Cam Shelton led the Lions (11-4, 1-0) with 15 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.
