SEATTLE, Wash. --- Redshirt Senior, Danny Martinez, capped off the first day of the UW Invite at the Dempsey Indoor facility with an impressive second place finish in the 5000 meter, setting a new personal record of 14:14.55. Redshirt sophomore, Gabriel Haughey, also competing in the 5000m, crossed the line within the top 10 with a ninth place finish.
The Distance Medley Relays ran just before the 5000m. The women's team consisting of freshmen Lacey Conner, Emily Bechen, Natalie Smith, and Maddy Lyons posted a time of 12:38.
