Lions eke out win with Last-Second Shot Over Pilots

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Loyola Marymount Lions (8-12, 3-7 WCC) roared back against the Portland Pilots (14-5, 4-3 WCC) in the second half to win at the Chiles Center 61-59. A last-second shot from Jasmine Jones proved to be the dagger.

Alex Fowler led the Pilots in scoring once again with 21 points. It was her fourth game in a row with at least 20 points and her seventh total this season. Fowler also moved to ninth all-time in career points in program history, now sitting at 1,382. Rose Pflug once again scored in double digits with 13 and four assists while Maddie Muhlheim scored a season-high 12 points with four threes.
